Olinda Deochand is an Associate in the firm’s Miami office specializing in the area of First Party Property Defense. She graduated from the University of Miami in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Psychology, and English Literature. Following her undergraduate studies, Ms. Deochand pursued a career in law and attended St. Thomas University School of Law. While in attendance, Ms. Deochand interned for Magistrate Tim Bailey and Magistrate Nicolas Lopane of the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida. After her time in the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida, she gained invaluable experience while law clerking for a prestigious law firm in Hollywood, Florida. She was also an active member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and of the Female Association of Women Lawyers. Ms. Deochand earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in May of 2017. Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Ms. Deochand practiced primarily in the areas of Personal Injury, Personal Injury Protection, and Complex Business Litigation.
