Maxwell E. Murray is an associate in Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A.’s Fort Lauderdale East Office. Mr. Murray’s practice focuses primarily on First-Party Property matters as a zealous advocate defending various insurance carriers.
Prior to joining the CSK family, Mr. Murray completed his undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida where he obtained his Bachelors of Science in Marketing with a Minor in Finance. Subsequently, Mr. Murray received his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law while maintaining Dean’s List for all semesters and graduating with Great Honor, Magna Cum Laude.
During his law school tenure, Mr. Murray was elected to serve on the Executive Board for the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, as well as the Journal of Complex Litigation. While serving on the Journal, Mr. Murray had the honor of becoming a published member with his piece on cyber security law reform. Mr. Murray was also an active fellow of the law school’s Academic Success Program, aiding students with their legal studies. In addition to his academic involvement, Mr. Murray clerked for a law firm in Downtown Miami focusing on employment and labor law, and gained valuable legal experience while clerking for the Honorable Judge Spencer Eig in the Civil Division of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit.
