Maria D. Corghi is an associate in the firm’s Miami office. She practices in the areas of Catastrophic and Personal Injury, Premises Liability, and Vehicle Negligence.
Ms. Corghi graduated with honors (cum laude) from the University of Miami School of Law. She graduated with honors (cum laude) from Florida International University earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice.
In law school, Ms. Corghi earned the Dean’s Merit Scholarship, and Dean’s List honors, and was an active Member of the University of Miami International and Comparative Law Review. Additionally, Ms. Corghi focused in gaining litigation experience and successfully completed one year in the University of Miami Litigation Skills Program.
Before entering law school, Ms. Corghi worked as a paralegal for a personal injury law firm and was part of the Executive Council of the Florida International University Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, Pre-Law Organization, as Fundraising Chair. While in law school, Ms. Corghi served as Judicial Intern for the Honorable David Miller, Miami-Dade County Circuit Court Judge. Ms. Corghi gained litigation experience working as a legal clerk for four different law firms, focusing in areas such as Commercial Litigation, Class Action Litigation, General Civil Litigation, Employment Litigation, Personal Injury, Premises Liability, and Probate Litigation.
Ms. Corghi is fluent in Spanish and has an advanced proficiency in Italian.
