Kristen Taylor is an associate in the firm’s Orlando office.
Originally from Miami, Florida, Ms. Taylor graduated from Florida International University, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Communication Studies. She was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Academic Honor Society, the National Honor Society of Collegiate Scholars, and the Golden Key International Honour Society.
Ms. Taylor returned to Florida International University to pursue her Juris Doctor. While earning her degree, Ms. Taylor completed two semesters abroad at the University of Oxford in England and at the University of Seville in Spain. She earned an award for achieving the highest class grade in Professional Responsibility and was on the Dean’s List four of her semesters. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Taylor interned for the Honorable Judge Marcia B. Caballero in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. Upon graduation, Ms. Taylor was recognized with a Certificate in Intellectual Property and the Pro Bono Service Award for having completed 170 hours of pro bono work during her time in law school.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A., Ms. Taylor was a volunteer attorney for Children’s Legal Services of the Department of Children and Families.
Ms. Taylor enjoys spending her time cooking with her husband and practicing yoga.
