Kenny Cantrell is an associate at the firm’s Orlando Office. He defends many types of claims involving personal injuries, premises liability and vehicle negligence. Mr. Cantrell has experience practicing commercial litigation, both first and third party insurance defense and ERISA litigation. He has also represented several large regional hospitals in medical malpractice disputes, professional liability disputes and administrative law disputes including representing Hospital’s before Florida’s First and Fifth District Courts of Appeal against the Agency for Healthcare Administration in Medicaid disputes
He received his J.D. from the University Of Alabama School of Law. In addition, he received an LLM in International Commercial law from Emory University School of Law in conjunction with Central European University in Budapest Hungary. While in attending law school, Mr. Cantrell was a member of the Alabama Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Law Review. Mr. Cantrell received various awards including membership in the Bench and Bar Honor Society, the Kaplan Scholastic Achievement award and first place in both the Birmingham Bar Association writing competition and the Magic City Bar Association writing competition.
Mr. Cantrell performed his undergraduate work at Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee where he was captain of the baseball team and worked towards a commission in the US Army with Vanderbilt University’s Army ROTC.
He is admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia and Florida including the Middle District of Florida.
