Joshua Smallwood is an associate in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale West office.  He primarily focuses his practice in the area of construction, medical malpractice, personal injury (PIP) and homeowner’s association law.

Mr. Smallwood is a May 2020 graduate of FSU Law. During law school, Josh was a founding member of the FSU Law Negotiation Team and worked for the FSU Law Office of Development and Alumni Affairs. During his first two summers, Josh worked with Paul Davis Restoration, Inc., a franchisor in the highly regulated restoration industry. While there, Josh drafted various franchise documents and helped franchisees remain compliant with various state and local regulations. In his 3L year, Josh clerked for the Leon County Attorney’s Office where he drafted pleadings and motions, interviewed witnesses, prepared for hearings, and drafted legal memos.
