Joshua G. Goodman is an associate in the firm’s Ft. Lauderdale East office. Mr. Goodman primarily focuses his practice in the area of general civil litigation, including First Party Property. A South Florida native, Mr. Goodman graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He then returned to South Florida to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law as a Dean’s Merit Scholarship Recipient.
During his tenure in law school, Mr. Goodman served as an extern for the Eleanor R. Cristol and Judge A. Jay Cristol Bankruptcy Pro Bono Assistance Clinic offering pro bro legal service to low-income individuals who are dealing with bankruptcy. Mr. Goodman also completed a summer clerkship at a local commercial litigation firm and worked for a defense firm in Downtown Miami.
Prior to law school, Mr. Goodman served as an intern in the Washington D.C. congressional office of a member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing parts of South Florida. Throughout his time at Emory University, he competed on the varsity tennis team and was a Senior Captain on the 2017 DIII National Championship team.
