James J. Woodruff II is an associate in the Jacksonville office. He handles an active civil litigation practice in the areas of personal injury, insurance bad faith, negligent security, trucking accident defense, and civil rights under title VII. Mr. Woodruff is also serves as a Major in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
Mr. Woodruff has represented both defendants and plaintiffs in personal injury and insurance matters during his career. His trial experience includes prosecuting courts-martial, defending government agencies before federal administrative boards, and jury and bench trials in state courts. He has taught litigation practice courses as an Associate Law Professor as well as Remedies as an Adjunct Law Professor at two different law schools. Additionally, he has given presentations on federal court and federal administrative motion practice and trial strategy as well as military law at various conferences.
Mr. Woodruff attended Texas A&M University at Galveston, South Texas College of Law, and the United States Air Force’s Air Command and Staff College.
