Mr. James is a Jacksonville native and attended the University of North Florida earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with minors in Political Science and Pre-Law. He attended Western Michigan University Law School, where he received his Juris Doctorate.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott, & Kissane, Mr. James worked as a staff attorney at the Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, Inc. (JALA), in the Family Law and Victim Advocacy Unit, focusing primarily on dissolution of marriage and child custody cases. Mr. James began his legal career working as staff attorney with the Florida Department of Children & Families in the civil prosecution of cases involving abused, abandoned, or neglected children.
Mr. James is admitted to practice in the State of Florida. Mr. James is also a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association.
