Heather McGriff is an Associate in the Jacksonville office. She practices in the areas of premises liability, vehicle negligence, bad faith and extra-contractual liability, insurance coverage and carrier representation, and the defense of catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims. Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A., Mrs. McGriff practiced at a large personal injury law firm representing plaintiffs in claims involving premises liability, vehicle negligence, negligent security, trucking/transportation, and wrongful death. Mrs. McGriff’s background in personal injury brings unique experiences and skills to her role at Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A.
Mrs. McGriff graduated from the Christopher Newport University with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science. Mrs. McGriff received her Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law, graduating with a certification in Advanced Legal Research, Writing and Drafting. Mrs. McGriff demonstrated her ability to critically analyze difficult legal questions through her numerous roles as a brief writer and oral advocate on Florida Coastal’s nationally ranked Moot Court Honor Board. During her second and third year of law school, Mrs. McGriff was a legal writing and torts teaching assistant. Throughout law school she was also a Student Ambassador, and the Pro Bono Chairman for the Student Bar Association.
Mrs. McGriff is licensed to practice in the State of Florida.
