Ethan Evans is an associate in the Firm’s Tampa office. His practice focuses on nursing home litigation.
Mr. Evans is a Tampa native, born and raised. He attended the University of Central Florida, where he earned his undergraduate bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies.
Mr. Evans attended the Stetson University College of Law. During law school, he interned with Innocence Project of Florida by way of the Innocence Initiative Clinic at Stetson, where he represented post-appellate criminal clients.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Evans began his career as an associate attorney for Woodlief & Rush, P.A., where he practiced civil litigation, including business and contract disputes, personal injury and family law. Mr. Evans tried one jury trial to verdict in a business litigation matter.
After Woodlief & Rush, Mr. Evans practiced criminal law as a litigator with the Office of the Public Defender, 13th Judicial Circuit. During his time as an Assistant Public Defender, Mr. Evans handled thousands of cases, managing in excess of 150 cases at a time. He has tried two criminal jury trials to verdict, in addition to over 30 non-jury trials.
