Daniel Montgomery is an associate in the Jacksonville office. Daniel practices in First Party Property litigation. He grew up in Goreville, Illinois, and graduated Summa Cum laude from Colorado Technical University. He then graduated Cum Laude from Florida Coastal School of Law where he was awarded a Dean’s Merit Scholarship, received multiple book awards, received Pro Bono Honors distinction, served as Vice President of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, and served as Vice President of Volunteer Student Immigration Alliance. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University with a Master of Science in Criminology, and earned a certificate in U.S. Intelligence Analysis.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane Daniel practiced as an Assistant State Attorney in the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida. He prosecuted and tried a variety of criminal cases, litigated state-wide criminal matters, served as the liaison for UVISAs, served on the policy committee, served on the technology committee, gained valuable trial experience, and gained a wealth of knowledge in the trial process.
