Courtney Salas is an associate in the firm’s Miami office. Her practice includes the areas of general civil litigation and catastrophic and personal injury.
Ms. Salas obtained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law, where she made Dean’s List. Ms. Salas was a Student Ambassador and a member of the FIU Law Trial Team. While on the Trial Team, Ms. Salas competed in the Honorable E. Earle Zehmer Memorial Mock Trial Competition in 2017, where her team earned first place and Ms. Salas was named “Best Advocate” in the finals. During her time at FIU Law, Ms. Salas also performed more than 130 hours of Pro Bono work. After completing her first year of law school, Ms. Salas interned with the Miami Dade Public Defenders Office in the Juvenile Division, specifically, in the Direct File Unit. During her second and third years of law school, Ms. Salas interned for Cole, Scott & Kissane.
