Christopher DeGrottole is an associate in the Jacksonville office. He practices in all phases of civil litigation, including insurance coverage and carrier representation, first party property, and personal injury litigation.
Originally, from Long Island, New York, Mr. DeGrottole attended Dowling College and obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology in 2009, graduating cum laude. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2014.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. DeGrottole practiced as an Assistant Public Defender, in the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida, where he represented individuals charged with misdemeanor and felony offenses. He has tried over 20 cases to verdict.
Mr. DeGrottole is admitted to practice in all jurisdictions in the state court system for the State of Florida. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
