Brian Dominguez is a partner in the firm’s Miami office. He practices in both Federal and State Courts in the areas of: admiralty and maritime, bad faith and contractual liability, e-cigarette litigation, consumer law, insurance coverage, products liability, toxic tort, aviation and transportation, intellectual property, class action, general civil litigation and vehicle negligence.
Mr. Dominguez has defended numerous resorts, hotels, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and tour operators. Mr. Dominguez has also defended numerous manufacturers and retailers of products including aircrafts, automobiles, motorcycles, e-cigarette products, vehicle restraint systems, heavy machinery, engines, and maritime vessels.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Dominguez served as a law clerk for the Honorable Adalberto Jordan on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Prior to his clerkship, Mr. Dominguez served as a judicial fellow to Judge Jordan on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Mr. Dominguez graduated with honors from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Mr. Dominguez received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law where he graduated with honors and received the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement for his academic performance in the Topics in Citizenship and Immigration Law seminar.
While in law school, Mr. Dominguez served as a Certified Legal Intern with the Miami-Dade County Office of the State Attorney, the Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center, and the University of Miami Tenant’s Rights Clinic. Mr. Dominguez is fluent in Spanish.
