Mr. Cole is a partner in Cole, Scott & Kissane’s Jacksonville office. Mr. Cole is a Martindale-Hubbell AV-Preeminent rated attorney. He has a civil trial practice in the areas commercial litigation, legal and professional malpractice, insurance coverage matters, premises liability, trucking/transportation, liquor liability defense, commercial and residential properties, negligent security and the defense of catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims. Mr. Cole also practices with an emphasis in hospitality and retail industry defense.
Mr. Cole represents insurance carriers in matters pertaining to insurance coverage, extra-contractual exposure and bad faith litigation.
His practice is statewide throughout Florida and throughout southern Georgia. He has handled numerous cases through verdict and judgment, as well as post-trial and appellate matters.
Mr. Cole’s representation of business entities encompasses commercial transactional matters and representation as corporate counsel, as well as commercial litigation.
Mr. Cole is licensed to practice in all Florida and Georgia state courts, including the Georgia Court of Appeals. Mr. Cole is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida, and the Middle and Southern Districts of Georgia. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Jacksonville Bar Association, DRI, and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association.
Mr. Cole graduated from the Florida State University with a B.A. in American & Florida Studies. Mr. Cole obtained his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law.
