Bernardo Pimentel

Bernardo Pimentel is a partner in the firm's Miami office. He is a civil defense attorney with a focus on General Federal and State litigation, Automobile Negligence, Products Liability, E-Cigarette Litigation, and Asbestos Litigation. Bernardo is a graduate from the University of Miami School of Law and is admitted to practice law in both State and Federal Courts in Florida.

Prior to joining Cole, Scott, and Kissane, Bernardo served as an Assistant Public Defender with the Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office, where he defended criminal cases from arrest to verdict and represented hundreds of indigent clients in a broad variety of criminal matters. Before that, Bernardo was an intern-turned-associate for the Law Offices of Pimentel and Castillo, focusing primarily on Criminal Defense, Family Law, and General Litigation.

While attending the University of Miami School of Law, Bernardo focused primarily on Litigation, both Civil and Criminal, and worked a variety of internships throughout his law school career including a Federal Judicial Internship with The Honorable Judge Lawrence King, an internship with the Miami-Dade Public Defender's office, and the same with the Law Offices of Pimentel and Castillo.

Before law school, Bernardo received a Bachelors in Science from Florida International University, majoring in Criminal Justice. Bernardo is also a Jesuit alumni, receiving his high school diploma from Belen Jesuit Preparatory School.
