Bernadine Philippe is an associate in the firm’s Ft. Lauderdale East office. She practices in the area of premises liability, vehicle negligence, trucking accident defense, security negligence, liquor liability, catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.
Mrs. Philippe attended Florida State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a minor in English. She then graduated from Nova Southeastern University where she received her Juris Doctorate. While in law school, Mrs. Philippe was a member of Nova Trial Association and a Florida Bar Public Service Fellowship recipient.
Prior to working at Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A., Mrs. Philippe was an Assistant State Attorney at the Broward County State Attorney’s Office for six years. As an Assistant State Attorney, Ms. Philippe was a lead prosecutor in the Felony Trial Unit, a supervisor in the Juvenile Unit and part of the Special Prosecution/Public Corruption Unit. Mrs. Philippe tried many cases to verdict, including first degree felony cases.
