Austin J. Holzknecht

Austin J. Holzknecht is an associate in Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A.'s Fort Lauderdale East Offices' Property Group. Mr. Holzknecht has provided zealous defense of claims arising from first party insurance claims while at Cole, Scott & Kissane. Mr. Holzknecht obtained his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law.

During law school, Mr. Holzknecht served as a legal intern for the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, clerked for a large insurance defense firm, and also worked for a United States Congressman. Further, Mr. Holzknecht was a member of the International and Comparative Law Review and participated in the Litigation Skills Program while attending the University of Miami School of Law.

Mr. Holzknecht has worked exclusively in first party property representing both insurance carriers and homeowners since his admission to the Florida bar.
