Andrea Vega Travieso is an Associate Attorney in the Firm’s Miami Office specializing in the area of First Party Property.
Ms. Vega Travieso completed both her undergraduate and law school studies at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. After she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, Ms. Vega Travieso worked for several years as an HR Associate in Paris, France; and as a Recruiting Manager and General Manager for businesses, including construction businesses in Florida. While in law school, she participated in numerous activities such as being Vice President of the International Dispute Resolution Club, attending training for direct and cross examination in the arbitration setting, and a lead-member of the International Commercial Arbitration Team competing in one of the biggest competitions the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna and Hong Kong, as well as competing in Spanish for the “Competencia Internacional de Arbitraje” in Argentina. Ms. Vega Travieso also interned as a law clerk for an international trade law firm and for FIU’s Community Lawyering Clinic, and served as a Research Assistant for FIU’s Associate Dean of International Studies.
Ms. Vega Travieso obtained her Juris Doctorate while being named to the Dean’s List and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2018. She is also an active member of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers.
Before joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Ms. Vega Travieso represented Florida clients in complex, federal, multi-district litigation, arbitration, corporate law and construction law.
