Amber Maynard is an associate attorney practicing first-party property defense for Cole, Scott & Kissane’s Orlando office.
Born and raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Ms. Maynard earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University located in Atlanta, Georgia. While attending Georgia State University, Ms. Maynard interned with the Clayton County Public Defender’s Office located in Jonesboro, Georgia. She was also an active member of the Georgia State Criminal Justice Student Association.
Upon graduating from Georgia State University, Ms. Maynard attended Florida Institute of Technology where she received her Master of Business Administration. Ms. Maynard went on to attend Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando, Florida where she served as the Vice President for the FAMU student chapter of American Civil Liberties Union. Ms. Maynard also served as the parliamentarian for the school’s student chapter of the Women’s Law Caucus.
Prior to working at Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A., Ms. Maynard worked as an Immigration Legal Intern at Bradbury Law Practice, LLC.
