Alicia Modeen is an associate in the firm’s Orlando office. Her areas of practice include insurance and general liability defense, including premises liability, personal injury, security negligence, and commercial vehicle and automobile liability.
Originally from Hartford, Connecticut, Alicia earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Public Policy from Dartmouth College. She later earned her Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, where she was a Cardozo Scholar, a Public Service Scholar, and a Berg Fellow.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott, & Kissane, Alicia worked as an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orlando, where she prosecuted cases ranging from misdemeanors to felonies punishable by life in prison. While an Assistant State Attorney, Alicia took over 35 cases to trial.
Alicia is a member of the Florida Bar, the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and the Orange County Bar Association.
