Mr. Shelowitz is an associate concentrating his practice in commercial litigation and employment litigation.
Mr. Shelowitz graduated from the Pennsylvania State University earning his undergraduate degree in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration. Thereafter, Mr. Shelowitz graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2018. During law school, Mr. Shelowitz was awarded Best Oral Argument in his litigation advocacy and writing course. Additionally, he spent a semester working for the Federal Appellate Clinic which assisted indigent prisoners appear before the Eleventh Judicial Court of Appeals. Mr. Shelowitz interned for the Honorable Jonathan Goodman, a United States Magistrate for the Southern District of Florida and for the Miami State Attorney’s Office where he challenged post-conviction sentencing appeals of convicted felons for the State of Florida.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Shelowitz worked as an associate in a boutique civil litigation firm in Hollywood, FL where his practice concentrated in the areas of landlord-tenant disputes, residential and commercial mortgage foreclosures, joint venture disputes, condominium association disputes, breach of contract issues and partnership disputes among other areas.
In his free time, Mr. Shelowitz enjoys watching the Miami Marlins and Miami Heat compete, spending time with family and traveling.
