Adrian Rivera is an associate in the firm’s Miami Office. Mr. Rivera primarily focuses his practice in the area of General Civil Litigation, including First Party Property insurance disputes.
Mr. Rivera graduated with honors (cum laude) from St. Thomas University School of Law while also achieving early graduation. While in law school, Mr. Rivera earned Dean’s List honors and was the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Advanced Legal Writing & Research. Prior to attending law school Mr. Rivera graduated from Florida International University earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy and a Minor in Psychology. While still in undergrad, he earned a Certificate in Law, Ethics and Society.
In law school, Mr. Rivera served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Migna Sanchez-Llorens in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. Mr. Rivera also gained trial experience as a Certified Legal Intern for the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office. Additionally, Mr. Rivera was a member of the American Bar Association, Elder Law Society, and Entertainment & Sports Law Society.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Rivera had experience in the area of Personal Injury Protection. Mr. Rivera is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts.
