Overview
Maria Vera is a Partner in the firm’s Miami office, and she also routinely handles cases for her clients throughout South Florida and Central Florida.
Ms. Vera’s law practice consists of representing and defending condominium associations and boards of directors, as well as defending businesses in response to premises liability, negligent security claims, personal injury claims, ADA claims, and civil rights claims. Ms. Vera also represents and defends insurers in bad faith litigation.
In addition, Ms. Vera has significant litigation experience defending attorneys, insurance agents, title agents, closing agents, appraisers, surveyors, accountants and real estate agents and other professionals who are sued for malpractice and professional negligence. She also represents a host of other companies and professionals in both litigation and transactional matters.
Ms. Vera attended Florida International University where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science, and received her Juris Doctor Degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law.
Ms. Vera is admitted to practice before all county and circuit courts in the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
