Christin Swanepoel Stevens

Christin is an Associate at the firm’s Miami office where she primarily focuses her practice on personal injury litigation, dog bite litigation, premises liability litigation, wrongful death, and general civil litigation.

Born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa, Christin immigrated to the United States at the age of thirteen. She completed her undergraduate studies at Bowling Green State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude while swimming at the NCAA Division I level. Christin went on to receive her Juris Doctor degree from University of Miami School of Law, where she graduated Cum Laude. During her time at Miami Law, Christin strengthened her trial and advocacy skills as a member of the Miami Law Trial team. She also participated in Miami Law’s Litigation Skills Program, where she was awarded the Gaebe, Mullen, Antonelli & DiMatteo Endowed scholarship for her excellence in trial advocacy.  

Outside of work, Christin is passionate about giving back to the community and helping others. Prior to practicing law, she worked as a legal intern for the Miami Law Immigration Clinic and the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office, where she assisted indigent clients in various criminal and immigration matters. She also served as the president of Miami Law’s Alliance Against Human Trafficking, advocating for survivors of human trafficking.

Christin is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
