Overview
Mr. Horky is a partner in the Pensacola office of Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A. and practices in the areas of general civil litigation, medical malpractice defense, construction litigation, association law, motor vehicle negligence, premises liability, accounting malpractice and workers compensation practice.
Mr. Horky graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law with honors in May of 1988. After clerking in West Palm Beach and Tallahassee, Mr. Horky joined the insurance defense arena where he has practiced for the past 21 years. Mr. Horky has first chaired over 15 jury trials in cases arising from premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, professional negligence and wrongful death, and has briefed and/or argued over 20 appeals.
Mr. Horky is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
Mr. Horky is licensed to practice in all state courts in Florida as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
Mr. Horky is a member of the Florida Bar and the Escambia-Santa Rosa County Bar Association.
