Shelby Serig is an Associate in the firm’s Jacksonville office. She graduated cum laude from West Virginia University in 1999 with a B.S. in Journalism. While at West Virginia University, she was selected as a member of Gamma Beta Phi, a national academic honorary. She was also selected to serve as a Frasure-Singleton intern with the West Virginia State Legislature. Shelby graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2003. While in law school, she received the Excellence for the Future Award. She was also the winner of the 2003 University of Pittsburgh Client Counseling Competition, the 2003 Mid-Atlantic Client Counseling Competition and placed 6th in the National Client Counseling Competition. Shelby is admitted to practice in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida. She practices primarily in the areas of employment practices, premises liability and general civil litigation.
