Mr. Shiver earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration/Management from the University of Florida, with high honors. He further received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, Frederick G. Levin College of Law, where he graduated with honors. As a law student, Mr. Shiver served as an Articles Editor on the Journal of Technology Law and Policy, was published in the UCLA Entertainment Law Review, received the Media Law and Copyright Law book awards, and was further honored with the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property Law.

Mr. Shiver has extensive experience in complex commercial/corporate disputes and litigation, involving corporate governance, fiduciary duty, and contract matters. Further, Mr. Shiver has litigated numerous large scale, multi-party real property and construction matters for the firm, as well as severe traumatic injury cases.

Mr. Shiver is admitted to practice before the New York Supreme Court, all Florida state courts, as well as the Federal Courts for the Southern District of Florida.
