Shelby Serig is a Partner in the firm’s Jacksonville office. She provides counseling and defense in the areas of employment litigation, condominium and homeowners association matters, commercial litigation, premises liability and professional liability claims. Ms. Serig graduated cum laude from West Virginia University in 1999 with a B.S. in Journalism. While at West Virginia University, she was selected as a member of Gamma Beta Phi, a national academic honorary. She was also selected to serve as a Frasure-Singleton intern with the West Virginia State Legislature. Ms. Serig graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2003. While in law school, she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award. She was also the winner of the 2003 University of Pittsburgh Client Counseling Competition, the 2003 Mid-Atlantic Client Counseling Competition and placed 6th in the National Client Counseling Competition.
Ms. Serig is a member of the Executive Board of the Girls Inc. Rising Leader Society, an auxiliary branch of Girls Inc. of Jacksonville. This non-profit organization offers educational programs on STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), health, financial literacy, leadership and advocacy for girls ages 5 to 18 years old throughout the United States and Canada.
Shelby is admitted to practice in Florida and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.
